Looking ok in yellow. Way better with a single reflector-unit in the headlights than the double one of the 991.2, no?
@ Guest: We asked specifically when booking and are trying through my sales associate, his contacts and people I got to know at a few trainings. Impossible they said.
Might be too early to have a positive response. Not getting our hopes up though...

I don‘t know exactly what it is, but there‘s something about the yellow 992 I don‘t like. In fact I think in none of these pics the new 911 looks how it should look like.

Yes, I had the same reaction to these photos. This is my take :
- I'm not completely sure that yellow is the color for this car.
- I can now confirm that the only thing I don't like in the 992 is the lack of body color at the bottom of the rear window. I looks OK if the car is in a dark color, but extends the window too far down if the car is in a light color.
- Im not sure that the sport exhaust should not have been in silver, as the wheels are silver and it would help break up the big black patch of the rear.
- This car for me has too many colors; Yellow, black , silver and red. To my eye it is too much like a clown car.
All in all, these are the first photos of the 992 that don't impress me.
BTW - I do like the 3rd photo.

Personally, I would prefer the 992 GT3 with Touring Pack option or a duck-tail spoiler...

DaveC:From my POV the 992 lacks cohesion in the design details if not the overall form. The yellow accentuates the incoherence.
Then just wait for the 992.2! Porsche always fix those little things in the .2 version

Going to see my OPC to talk about this configuration. Love the new Gentian blue. Some comfort options + all chassis options takes this S to 146k. Somewhat on the high side but maybe there is wiggle room...

Just black with some alcantara touches. Struggling to find pictures that shows Gentian blue IRL...all Gentian mules in the wild look different to the Gentian 992 at the official presentation. That one has more purple under those bright lights, wich I like more....

They look so different 
are your sure it is the same color? Gentian blue in google looks just like the outdoor 992 above and with no purple, could there be another blue color?

I know, but apparently they are both Gentian. There is one more classic dark blue available, but haven’t seen pics of those, only in the configurator.
Here are some more pics, Gentian differs a lot under sunshine. Sometimes gorgeous, sometimes meh:
