Could be promising although I couldn’t put up with 718’s uncouth engine especially after our 718 GTS. 
If magically it could have a flat six I could be tempted...

I think you may be onto something there PJ...that and the hot weather - But this current heatwave with 30 deg C + and high humidity is too hot and uncomfortable for me could go with low to mid 20’s C. 
When we are out during the hottest part of the day it’s roof up and air conditioning on I’m afraid But in no way are we getting tired of our magnificent Boxster, nothing in our realistic budget in the current range would tempt us away from it.
