LT is not convertible... To me these car make ZERO sense as a coupe anymore since there is no loss in performance being convertible. Porsches do not have that luxury
Not everyone is a fan of top-down driving. I see people in rainy places with convert. tops up always; I see people in hot places with tops up always to enjoy AC. In urban driving, the coupes have better sightlines to the rear (the popular roll hoop humps are particularly bad for visibility) . To many, the coupe is a cleaner, less fussy design. There are plenty of reasons why people might choose a coupe - that is why they provide the choice.
+1, I won't be trading my coupe I just prefer coupes, I've always felt a bit of a pretentious knob driving round with the roof down but agree that they have nailed virtually all the (other ) shortcomings of convertible v coupe apart from the spider being ~45kg heavier....
