RC:the-missile:bluelines:I actually enjoy the 3.0l turbo in my GTS more than the 3.8l NA in my previous C4S. Not only is it much more powerful, but weirdly enough it feels more responsive too, which it should not. Porsche has done a tremendous job with this 3.0l engine. A gem.
You really need to try the 4.0L NA in the GT car...GTS will go straight to memories...
You really need to try the 5.2L NA in the R8...4.0L NA GT car will go straight to memories...
First of all, the redline is at 8xxx, you still need to enter the 9xxx territory and we are not even mentioning some kind of pedigree
the last few hundreds rpm...

Hah! That is pretty much what the above mentioned person said when he compared the V12 in his GTC 4 Lusso to the flat 6 in his GT3 Touring That GT3 Touring is soon for sale...
Having had the Lusso for a day I can confirm that this engine is a monster It pulls and revs like nothing I have ever experienced. Accompanied by a glorious V12 scream
Crazy, that's almost an exact copy of my friend's Lusso!

bluelines: "Yes, I will have to try it myself, I just don’t know how I am going to deal with the 100Nm loss in torque "
Yes, the 3.0L has more torque at the engine. But, you have to remember that it's the torque at the tires that matters. With the GT3, you have much lower gearing (if you're in the correct gear) and gearing acts as a torque multiplier. The lower gearing is made possible by the 9,000 rpm redline and pays off with the most powerful 460NM of torque you've ever felt
But at the highest passes in the Alps, the turbo motor will be able to work in the thin air better than GT3...

Wonderbar:Porsche press conference set for 10:25 AM Pacific time on November 28 at the LA car show. Don’t know if that means that 992 Is going to be announced, but the press conference has been set.
Sounds like could be GT4, according to Whoopsy - either way, something interesting...

Carlos from Spain:SciFrog:Not being able to order a GT3 touring with rear seats and PDK is stupid
x2, these restrictions are stupid, if they have the parts readily available and fit easily, why not let the customer decide?
Even the Porsche Family seem to endorse your idea - obviously even mating a GT3RS engine with AWD

This car has been tuned by MTM, this is not a car (previously) owned by the Porsche family and it is not a car modified by Porsche. I am pretty sure there are some pretty neat "exotics" out there for specific members of the Porsche family but this one doesn't seem to be one of them. This is a pretty interesting product though.

Yes, conversion done by MTM (not by the Porsche factory) - probably then a P-family "stalker" driving a highly customized oak green 911 in Zell am See Like the car's concept, hate the conversion cost (ad says something like > 400 kEUR for original car plus conversion)
