    Nice detail on the front spoiler: embossed GT4 script. So the Instagram pictures seem to show the production car. Too bad the rear diffusor is not visible in those pictures. In the video the rear diffusor still looks unfinished imo.

    These last photos (with the red numbers numberplate) seems like the finished product.

    Development should be almost done (or already done) and is waiting for mkt launch dates and WLTP homologation for europe.

    It does sound like the current GT4 3.8l engine and it is indeed the first video where it does not sound muted like a turbo.

    That's the same thing that i have heared.

    But there are still some 991.2 coming in 2019 (Speedster, 991.2 GT3 RS, ...). 
    From this point of view it makes no sense to bring the 992 to LA?! Smiley

    The thing is: Dealers badly "need" the 992 to be able to actually sell cars. This is probably the reason why it has been changed again (initially, the rumor was Paris, then Geneva and now LA). Most dealers in Germany and other parts of Europe basically have no new cars to sell, the 992 is very very important to them.

    Yes, Porsche already offers for dealers all 911 (991.2) Carrera 4 GTS variants with Euro 6d temp certification (starting Oct. 2018) but this is not enough I'm afraid.

    Btw: The Cayman PDK and Cayman GTS PDK are now Euro 6d temp certified as well.

    "Timeless Machine" seems to become the marketing slogan for the 992.

    BTW it was mentioned a couple of days ago on the instagram account that the car will enter the market "at the beginning of 2019". This language - though rather generic - suggests that show appearance should be in LA.
