there is a second batch coming for 2019 and it will be a massive one. they will produce as much as the .1 version i.e. 5000 cars at least.

And it’s quite loud the squeak.
just don't worry, drive the car, it is GT, it makes noise and rattles. if something goes wrong, there are 23CPU to inform you and they will let you know on the dashboard

It was a great week.
Did my fastest laps ever in the 997.1 GT3. 7.38 BTG 3-5 °C.
I raced on Saturday. Did 90 minutes on slicks in rain and 2-3°C. LOL
The following day was cold 1-2 °C but basically dry.
Monday and Thuesday was cold and rainy and some snow on Thuesday, Practised rain laps 
ZahirD:Bro mechanical noise there is but this is like a loud Squeak I think I better record it for everyone to hear.
I have the 991.1 RS and the gearbox noise is one of the highlights of the car. Nothing beats a cold start with that car :)
But: Squeak it does not. Looking forward to your recording.

Hey guys I have recorded the noise but it’s not so clear on the video but if you listen closely you can hear it. I have a feeling it might be the breaks because they are the carbon ceramic ones and they already squeak so might be the pads that need to wear down a bit.

But I think this might put an end some discussions (not here) about wether the Cup2's are working when it is cold or not.
cold tyre is different than cold weather and hot tyres. when tyres are hot, they are sticky even if you are driving on dry and cold reasonnable conditions.

Same thing happened with .1 more RS than regular 3.

Depending on your driving skill: How to approach the Nordschleife:
1 Study the track, video game, video, learn where the corners are and what name they have - it helps2 Rent a slow car - Suzuki Swift is really good. Drive there when it is cold and rainy just to learn the track layout
3 When you are familiar with the track: Faster cars, coaching, track days, Scuderia Hanseat.
I'd say that after 50 laps you know the track fairly good.
You have until March April 2019 to prepare yourself :-)

Also, avoid tourist days...too many idiots and too much oil and other liquids on the road. 
Haven't been there for a while, will very likely not go there at all anymore.
A well known YouTuber in Germany has just crashed his Lamborghini Huracan Avio and unfortunately, the insurance is refusing to pay (his insurance guy told him otherwise), so... 
Damage is extensive, someone offered him 30k EUR for the damaged car, so you can imagine. People always need to make sure they have insurance, otherwise stay away from the Nordschleife (or any other track) unless you can afford it.

Yes but not take a final decision...I think porsche make a lot GT3 RS and with .1 RS I do not want play this game! Look for a 997 GT3 RS now..Not a final decision but new car game is not for me now...

Porsche is killing the exclusivity and one of the USPs of the GT3 RS by producing so many. The residual value of the 991.1 GT3 RS is the worst of all GT3 RS generations.

Of course they are killing the exclusivity, the GT3RS is not a car meant to be exclusive or driven for free, its a car meant to be driven and hard, for people who will track it. Because of it's success as a driver's car it has become so popular that it's side effect is that demand being greater than supply it has driven residuals up, but not the other way around. It is not a limited edition, it is a track day car. The more they make the better, the more people can enjoy them, and there shouldn't be anyone that wants one that should not get one.
