    Too bad they didn't get a little closer to see what the red line on the tach is...exhaust looks like the turbo one.  My rudimentary German wasn't good enough to deduce if they had seen it.

     

    Car has been confirmed a million times as NA, why is people still talking about turbo? Exhaust location has nothing to do with what the engine is. 

    The 918 is NA but has exhaust pointing to the sky. 600LT is turbo-ed but the exhaust are also pointing at the sky.

    Moving the exhaust from the middle doesn't means the engine have gone from NA to turbo. 

    Regular 911 that was NA has the exhaust apart too, that didn't stop Porsche from using the same wide spacing on exhaust on the turbo cars.

    NA it is, I figured Porsche is like every other corporation in the world and wouldn’t design a new exhaust when it’s already got one on the shelf.  They are masters of part sharing Smiley  As one of the senior development engineers at my company I know all to well what it’s like dealing with the finance folks...

    Anyway glad it’s staying NA.  Just hoping they green light the 4RS and that I get an allocation for one.

    Last time around they use the LA Auto Show to launch the Cayman GT4 ClubSport.

    Should be the same also, as the race car is due to be in racers' hands during the ROAR in January, so it had to relaunched before that.

    And it would be odd to introduce the race car before the street car, so in all likelihood the street car will debut at the LA Auto Show together with the race car.

    Weissach has been taking official orders since about 2 weeks ago.

    They take orders for the CS, not for the street car.

    The 991.2 Cup Car was also intruduced before the street car. We will see, i think it will be Geneva.
    992 AND GT4 in LA is a bit too much .... or 992 in Geneva and GT4 in LA? Smiley

    Every video I’ve heard sounds muffled like a turbo 6 but people are insisting it’s a NA 6. So it could only mean that damn bloody regulations have ruined the sound.

    The particulate filter has ruined the sound in many cars (have you heard the new M2 Competition? Smiley), so I wouldn't be surprised... 

    Heard a new 2019 E63 S yesterday, compared to it, my car is loud as a jet (and it isn't really that loud, only very noticeable). Smiley

    I am very worried about our upcoming C63 S AMG convertible (delivery expected in Dec.). Heard and drove the car at an event and I am quite disappointed. It sounds OK when the engine is turned on and when you drive at lower rpm but once you accelerate full throttle, the sound gets a bit generic, not that deep V8 "scream" I am used from this engine. Smiley The particulate filter ruined the sound.

    I am looking at a low mileage used C63 possibly, this seems to be the sensible buy, huge savings on new price, the pre-filter wonderful V8 bark, and depreciation seems epic on these, at least here in the UK, new price £70k, used ones with less than 1k miles £12k cheaper, and fully loaded with options.

    It is NA. If it is not then I don’t know what is worse, that it has turbos or that some people on the forum will loose all credibility indecision Very exciting times.
