Each to his own, but this is another miss IMHO. Much of the personilsation is going too far now and not working at all. Stripes on Lussos and 812s are rife. Some of the TDFs went way too far as well. Having said that, I am toying with scratching the Blu Electtrico itch on the Pista and combining with another favourite colour of mine - orange .
I was thinking of an orange Aventador yesterday...
A special car deserves a special color, a Pista in black or red just wouldn't do this car justice.
Can't wait to see yours.
Special colour is okay, it is the stripes and coloured lines where it all goes wrong...
Have you seen the mini Tricolore of this Pista? So stupid.
I hate stripes on cars. My E63 S has only that black stripe on the side because it is part of the Edition 1 package and I thought I take a look at it before I remove it. Now my detailer told me that removing the stripe after half a year isn't a good idea because there would be some visible "shadow" in the paint. Since this is a matte paint, he cannot polish out the shade, so he recommends to stay with the stripes. If I knew that before, I would have ordered the car without them. On a Ferrari, these stripes and lines look even more stupid, reminds me of the 80s, when all car manufacturers offered stripes for their cars as an option and it looked more and more silly (remember those flowery stripes on Fiat cars? ).
