I have to say that the car only looks good in colours with a low amount of reflection. The first dark-coloured and the studio pictures of the blue-grey showcar supported the kinks and huge amount of differently bent surfaces. The fair's reflection from the unveiling do not look appropriate on it.
In fact, that occurred to me with the LP560 already, a car that I find most appropriate in darker, almost dull colours. The Murcielago and its successor, the LP640, have beautiful and very sleek surfaces which does not necessitate this.
Lamborghini has to sell the car by emotions, there is no other possibility. They certainly occupy a category that no competitor is in, Bentley, Mercedes and even Porsche's Panamera will be much too civilized, Bentley and RR are far too stately mannered. Aston's Rapide and Maser's 4P will not even touch it in regards of price and attract a different customer group as well.
Saloons are, by default, considered in a much more rational way than any sport coupes, sportscars or supercars, such as the remaining Lamborghini line-up. It will be interesting to see if people are ready to shell out that amount of money. The only successful manufacturers on this account are the two elitist British brands.

This car will not be that expensive. Expect starting price from 130,000 Pounds for RHD version, which makes it cheaper than the expected 150,000 Pounds aston Rapid.
How come? Rapide is a V12, the Lambo will have a supercharged V8 from audi as entry level, and higher version with Gallardo engine. So it will compete with the Rapide , Bentley Continentals and Rolls Royce Silver Seraph..

I like this Lambo.
Apart from the front inlets it has some beautiful lines, a gorgeous rear and the rims look great on it - except in black.
The only real problem I see is that it doesnt look alien or extreme enough to be a real Lambo. It looks the way the Panamera should have looked.
It's too smooth and round for a Lambo, only the front scoops and details on the back tels you it's a Lambo.
So I really like the design, but it's in no way distinctly Lambo design.

love the back, the rest is SO ugly ... (i hate myself for saying this, but...) even worse than the panamera. Porsche really messed up the back of the panamera, and Lambo did a equivalent work messing up the front of this car. maybe they should join up and see if they can come up with just 1 complete good looking car.
