    997 S -Nuerburgring

    This weekend I went to the Ring ....and ...surprise!
    unforunatly now one theese 997 is crashed ....first Nordschleife victim! (no one was seriously hurt).

    WOW, picture 6 shows the most beautiful shape of the 997 front! Beau-ti-ful!!

    The Nurburgring is definately a place to visit - if you've been there once you probably come back!

    Nice pics - the black 997S in the first pictures has a Portuguese license plates?

    Nops...here's a photo of how a Portuguese license plate looks like..02 means year, 05 means mouth..well..it means the year and the mouth that the car was registred.

    The license plate is from a Porsche Carrera 4 Cabrio.

    I wonder if others Countries use that thing with year and mouth like we use.

    Thats a fellow countryman there, those are spanish plates

    BTW sergini, is that the one who crashed or the one thats behind with the red plates?

    What were the door numbers for - kind of a track day?

    Paolo, reg. date in Germany is indicated by a sticker (only month and year) between city and reg. letters, the relevant month facing north.

    Just build one...!

    Heard that some Japanese manufacturer (Honda?) intended to build a copy of it in their home-country, at least parts of it!

    Mercedes has copied the Hockenheim-shorttrack on their proving grounds in Papenburg!
