Very cool, Eric! What change did you make to suspension (besides alignment)?

.2 GT3 and GT2 still touches the arches under very heavy load . Manthey provides a '' suspension upgrade '' . If you look closely to the photo of the front suspension, you can see that they aded a spacel between the top of the suspension and the body of the car . So they manage to keep the same suspension travel , but no more touching

Ah, thanks for the info

Judging by Eric's owner's report and by Kreso's expert opinion the new RS seems like a superfluous car for a the handsome amount of 200.000+ EUR.
Unless someone has the time to spend days in a race track or lives near appropriate twisty routes, this car might be surplus.

when i drive my frirend's 458 speciale i feel like in a rolls royce comfort-wise compared to my GT3RS 991.1. i can hardly imagine what the .2 is like:::)))) superfluous, yes surely but i am glad i made the experience.
What progress compared to MK 1!
Yet very attached to the manual, I am absolutely amazed by the PDK that works as an AK47.
The recalibrated steering rear wheels help make the car run better. The sound is demonic! No understeer and braking that does not weaken. The engine is finally level, it grows early and it climbs, climbs ... but for now no more than 7500.
Two defects in my opinion. A bulky car and it's hot sometimes in crossovers and still a bit heavy.
And what do you think about the race suspension? Took a ride in Manthey’s GT2 RS with the race suspension. Felt nice, but the squiking sound and the fact that it would make the lift system non working made me not choose it when I set up my GT2.
Know they are working on being able to have the race suspension AND still be able to use the lift system. Then I might go for it👊👍
Normally I do not time my laps, as for me , not doing it , is part of my '' insurance '' for not pushing it a step too far . It helps me keep it safe and fun rather then becoming an obsession to beat my time records .
But, I did vaguely check my time on about 3 laps . It was, BTG , 7:39
And that was with my brand new car .... I am sure I can shave off at least 5 seconds , maybe 10 ?? , with some practice
You can see a lap timed in this video . The guy filming is in a LG car, in front of him the red GT3 and in front of the red GT3 you can see me . First a bit far , then slowly towards the end , they catch on me ( for diverses reasons )

I am now back home . Hopefully we can meet another time
I did not put the race suspension . Like you said , I would not want this car without the lift , when using it regularly on public roads .
I only did the suspension '' upgrade '' which is a modification so it does not touch the inner arch wheels under heavy load

Lots of respect for the RS models.
But unless someone tracks the cars habitually, IMO the "normal" GT3 is the sweet spot of the GT range and probably the whole 911 range.
