Thanks for the info, it's a definite experience for me, probably now in 2010
Especially if a very good friend of mine (and fellow Rennteamer) moves out to Switzerland in the forseeable future.

I hope you you did not get stuck too often behind trailers on those mountain passes, or behind cars with B, or NL number plates
and if swiss cars, with BE number plates 
It can be quite annoying during high season, but it helps you not to get caught by the speed trap

Wow wow wow... First, congrats to the newlyweds!!!
Are those dizzying curves the Stelvio pass? (I hope your wife was ok as the passenger through these curves; my stomach is churning from just looking!) Is this pass considered the "best" of Europe? I travel to Europe once every year or two and now that I've seen these pictures, I must make plan to test the curves one of these days with my rental Vauxhall Vectra

Actually the Mrs was reading in the car most of the time! The other guys wives were all complaining at how scary the driving was, Nicky was very blasé about the whole thing. I wasn't thrashing the car to keep up though - I was taking everything at 3/4 pace most of the time for safety/smoothness purposes. The only time I was really pushing was after my geometry alignment got knocked out and I was really having to fight the car to get it to go round bends and keep up with everyone.
The passes that Gary mentioned are even better than Stelvio btw (as they are much quieter)

Once again, many congrats all round. You obviously had a wonderful trip. Reminds me of my own trip to Switzerland last year I seem to have become 'infamous' for my write-ups

Thanks Easy - yes, wonderful trip. Going through all these well taken pics reminds me just how amazing it was.
I actually have quite a bit of video footage too but I didn't have a camera mount in the car so it's rather shaky for YouTube. I might see if I can edit some bits together though when I get time.
