    Re: Panamera interior shot

Pretty much ties back to this pic we posted last year I think.

    Re: Panamera interior shot

..hmmm... I don't know what to say....

    Re: Panamera interior shot

... but I know what you would like to say....

    Re: Panamera interior shot

The other picture (at Autocar) have the car with some of the camo removed.

    Re: Panamera interior shot

I like the wide centre console that separates the front seats.

    Re: Panamera interior shot

There are some differences between these two pics, have a look at the air vents for instance, they're not the same size.

The ones on the latest photo are larger due to to global warming. Gotta have big vent for AC here in the western world where the temperatures are increasing.

But d*mn the cockpit is huge.

    Re: Panamera interior shot

worse than i thought it might be.....

Guys relax, the smaller vents can be ordered as an option if you don't like the long ones .

    Re: Panamera interior shot

Ouch, between this interior and the 997.2 paddles, I don't like the way this is going...

    Re: Panamera interior shot

There are an amazing amount of buttons on that huge centre tunnel console. I wonder what on earth they all do as there are nowhere near as many on a 997 or Cayenne?

you forgot to mention that it will be a "cost"-option too

From the picture it seems that on the dashboard there are only the PCM buttons.

So things like climate control, heated/ventilated seats,Sport Chrono,PASM modes,PSM off,air suspension etc etc are relocated to the wide centre console.

It does look that way and so far no improvement. It still looks like an elongated 911. Like that old prototype from 15 years ago. It's not sleek or exciting, just big.

The interior is disjointed, again no sleekness, no flow.

    it still sucks.

Plus why does it take so long for porsche to produce a new crappy design. Do they think they are building excitement for THIS? It seems bmw and merc put new desirable models out on a regular basis.

Porsche needs new management, is it a hedge fund or sports car builder?

I agree with you on this one. I remember when everyone was talking about the first gen. Cayenne that it's all camo and the real thing is beautiful and stylish. Once the real thing was released I was wishing they would put the camo back on it .

I hope we are all wrong on Panamera though .

    Re: Panamera interior shot

Doesn't look that bad for a sedan I suppose. I would expect some luxury in that car and it looks like they will deliver. I hope Porsche actually includes some decent options as standard equipment on that car.

Centre console looks likes it out of the 80s... Knight rider.

Yes, different from anything else, I like it!

This interior looks like Vertu in the mobile telephones, so I like it a lot too...

    Re: Panamera interior shot

I think this is todays product, when you try to avoid systems like I-Drive, MMI etc etc.
Well lets wait and see, but from what I can see right now... looking way to oldfashioned.

The problem about so many buttons is actually, if you dont load the car with all the goodies that will be offered (and we know porsche is going to offer many many goodies, that are going to bring huge profits for the share holders) you will get many empty button-dummies.

No camo has been removed. The other pictures at Autocar shows a test mule wearing the same amount of camo as the mules we've seen the latest 6 months.

Err, quite an expensive option I guess.

    Re: Panamera interior shot

Porsche seem to playing games here testing the Panamera with different center consoles so there is a chance that what we see here isn't the final interior. The huge vents have got to go and the buttons on the arm rest don't look very right.

    Re: Panamera interior shot

"Panamera interior shot"? I'd almost call it a "Panamera inferior shot"!

No that is not true. The Autocar pictures show a car without the extra door panels as we have seen before, and also if you look at the C-pillars, you will see that they have removed the camo- you can now see the hips.
furthermore, the engine cover is different.
there is still a lot of camo on the front and rear (and tail lights)
