    991 Sketches ?

    Could this be a drawing of the next 911 (991) ?

    Could be, except that it is called 999 in the picture (read the number plate) Looking seriously allright btw!

    that looks good....so probabaly not official as from the "designers" of the fl997 and panamera/lexus abominations

    That's just an artistic impression. Don't think the 991 will look anything like that. Looks too generic.

    i like it. the way the defrost lines in the rear window mimic the vent openings on the rear deck is neat.

    i wonder why people always draw ridiculously big wheels though.

    this is my impression!

    It's 5 months old now but basically trying to convey a wider rear with a bigger wing (that goes outwards). A lower stance with a wider track and more curves!

    While i like this rendering a lot, it looks like the new 928 based on the Panamera platform. Just has that different un 911 like roof line that i don't think we'll see such a change in.

    The sketch on top is bogus. PAG never had a badge on the rear of any car.

    Also, do not forget Porsche is all about evolution and not revolution. The changes to the 998 will be small compared to the 997.

    I agree. The rear lights DID remind me of 928 as well. If 2-door Panamera will look like this, sign me up please.

    I can probably guarantee you one thing... The 998 and the 911 after that will still continue to look like a 911 from 40 years ago. The day Porsche starts making new designs instead of extremely mild evolutionary changes, that's the day I'll finally be inspired by the 911 design.

    I was hoping they would buck that trend with the Boxster series, but with the 987 they seem to be following the same design patterns.

    I don't know what they'll(Porsche)do, but they need to do it quickly, as the 997 just got spanked again at the 24H of Spa.
    That the second 24H race that the 997 has lost to the F430.
    Not Good For Business.

    Do you really think that somebody at Porsche will let out any drawing of the next car? This is nothing more than a drawing tutorial used by some student to show how to render in Photoshop, and then taken by a so called "journalist" thinking that now he has some really hot news! I hate this people

    Atz, awesome job (if you drew it?) on that front view, that is really a cool, producable sketch mixing 928, R8, and 911.

    First sketch, sketch is from a rendering tutorial by, as far as I'm concerned, an enthusiast amateur

    2nd & 3rd sketches by a very talented designer, currently working for a BMW subsidiary in Munich and previously for Porsche's Weissach design center.
