    yeah but 599, 612 and enzo had that special something that even though they were not awesome looking made them italian and interesting. but this thing... come on !! looks like a scud went through a paper shredder !!

    On Supercars.net they had a recent feature on the F90 which was a one off made for the Sultan of Brunei in the early 90's. It was based on the 512tr. The styling was similar to this car with an "eliptical theme". My guess is this is a one off for the Sultan based on the F430. Its ugly as sin if you ask me.

    wow just read the article. it was a great relief to know that watever was seen in maranello is probably a one off. lets hope it was .

    I can't believe that knowlegable car guys are actually debating what is very obviously a cheap re-touching of the 430 Scuderia with some questionable design features added.

    Design features vary from picture to picture; in the first picture, the headlights look like standard 430 lights, and in the third picture, they pratically reach the center of the front wheels.

    Also, while in the second picture there is a gap between the lower rear bumper/diffuser (in black) and the main bumper, in the third picture, these are flush.

    The generally poor execution of the photos has the same feel as the photos of aliens and Bigfoots published by the now-defunct Weekly World News.

    The fit and finish of this car actually looks pretty good. Why would Ferrari waste the time and money required to design and build the body pieces of this car when they could have used random, parts-bin, junk for a prototype. I would be surprised if my earlier analysis of this car was incorrect.

    This could be a one-off model for someone with lots of $$$ - like the Sultan of Brunei?? He's had Ferrari do special cars for him before...

    I don't think we should care too much for the exterior since it's probably just a random prototype body shell covering the underpinnings of the car. Very similar to how Mercedes are using Dodge viper body to test the chassi, engine, gearbox, exhaust system and architecture for the SLC.

    We all saw how covered up the California was even after pictures surfaced, so Ferri would unlikely let a naked F430 successor stroll around without camo.

    I don't think there is ANY chance of Ferrari showing finished design THIS early by accident or even on purpose.
    One off product or a new camo direction for them, gets my vote.

    Anyway it look silly, almost toy like, like all those sultan one off cars, or Ferrari Mythos...

    Yes, it's a one off, built under the new Ferrari Coach built Program, designed by Fioravanti.
