Well, I recall reading an article saying that the average Ferrari "Exclusive" customer adds options for 70 or 80 k - I bet 80% of this revenue goes straight to the bottom line.
I was shocked to read today about a massive "efficiency" program at Porsche: despite what I would call great EBITDA-margins > 18% Wolfsburg wants to further milk the cow The program aims at cost savings of 2 bn Euro p.a. - mostly in the procurement and R&D department (no workforce reduction planned). Doesn't sound good for suppliers and customers....
