    Mine is meteor grey.

    Decided to go with the manual...... (specced before seeing PDK - liked the PDK at silverstone, but I also like the feel/involvment of manual gears)

    You guys are killing me, I have to wait till 11th Aug - even though my car will be in Swindon next week - still I am sat on a beach in Bermuda!!!

    I see some are getting Park Assist on their Carrera. This is a small car and I can understand why this option would be wanted by so many. I never had any issues parking my Porsche and judging the front and back bumper. Sorry I just do not get it.

    I agree and I would never park my 911 in a spot between 2 cars that was so small to need it in the first place - that is just asking for someone else to bump you

    Ever since my wife backed my 1 week old Boxster into a fence post and caused Pounds1200 of damage i have added this option onto all my new cars !!!

    Also, I think that park assist is one of those highly valued options when selling your car. Not that you get a higher resale value, but it helps selling on the second-hand market. (And maybe a dealer will therefore offer a higher resale value?)

    Just been to the dealer to see them working on my car for the Tuesday collection.

    At the moment it is having the Airbag deactivator switch fitted.

    Interestingly although i have ordered the 666 phone option with SAP it can be re-coded at the dealer to do HFP. This is good news as it means i don't have to change phones

    Anyway got a couple of shots for you all

    Yep plain old black for me this time !!!! The car is dirty as it has not been detailed yet.. Due to the speed of delivery i can't get this done until next Friday.... Will get loads of pics on collection day and also when the car is being detailed.

    Had to make a tough choice with the wheels as when i did the spec for the car nobody had seen the new Carrera S 2 wheels for the face lift cars... My car is still to have the wheel spacers fitted before i collect it....

    I think the wheels look fine - infact all the wheels to me look fine apart from the old Carrera S standard alloys..... i bet you are looking forward to cleaning them Chris :P

    Interesting that you went for the spacers as well. I have them on my current C4S and it makes such a difference to my mind. I have those wheels at the moment but painted to body colour which I'm now regretting not having done again. I don't think the C4S wheels will fit a C2S or else I'd have them swap them over.

    I had a call from the dealer today asking what phone I used as they are also switching it over to HFP.

    Why don't they just build the wheels with the correct offset, so that spacers are not necessary?

    Spacers are never the first choice with respect to fastening integrity (though I'm sure it's not a big compromise in this case).

    Watch out for condensation inside the tail-lights as a reported gremlin. Check the headlights too.

    No it is the sticky residue from the wing covers that are on the car in transit. The car is very dirty and needs a clean up.
