    Aston Martin DBS

    Was driving past a dealership a while back and drove past this... HAD to stop
    The perfect combo of beauty and aggro IMO, its just plain awesome . Only car that comes close is a Maserati GT-S IMO...

    At first glance, the differences between the normal DB9 and the DBS are minimal... Stand for a bit longer tho and the DBS just looks soo much better. Lots of small changes that make a huge difference!

    Not a big fan of the Vantage but it looks sooo good in this colour. There was a black droptop next to it-looks good to. The pics of that car isnt nice tho

    I'm from Cape Town - South Africa... I thought the same, esp the other (Not Aston) one.. Really nice setup and its just in front of the sea, so you hear waves crashing the whole time youre there.

    TWO! N400s wow! Looks like quite a few people cancelled their orders in lieu of the improved 09.

    I was wondering about that DBS.
    I heard that there is a waiting list long as a chinese wall on that model.
    Is it then possible for me to go and buy that car from that dealer, without entering my name on that list ?

    I thought that car must have come from somewhere 'special' lol...I'm guessing he let it go for the Zonda?

    RE the Phantom...Its without a doubt the car with the most presence IMO. The Interior is breathtaking too! Hope you enjoying yours ... Maybe, and thats a BIG maybe, I'll be able to have a Phantom Coupe one by the time I'm about 28...Its my lifes goal at the moment
    I'll probably be in the states by then...

    About "the list" i have read in Forbes magazine. There was an article about luxury cars. Funny thing, almost every model on their list including the DBS was "bundled" with a waiting list of X or XX months. As I remember for DBS it was 12 months or so.

    I'm sure Cape town is a lovely place

    All those pics of cars above aren't far off Mike S's collection...!

    Love the Gallardo, but after looking at the DBs pics first, the G looks "ugly" in comparison!

    DBS waiting list is totally evaporated, even in the UK.

    A couple of dealers have 1-2 new ones and 2-3 used ones.

    In the USA, there at least 3 dealers that have unsold MY09, first-gen DBS's. One can even be picky about the colour.

    Yes, he sold that with a bunch of cars (Detomaso Pantera etc.) including all his Ferrari's. A friend of ours bought a bunch of his old Ferrari's including his old F40. But it was not like he needed the money for it anyways, suppose he was just "spring" cleaning?

    Almost That was the same DB6 I was phoning in about at the beginning of the year. I see it's still there, they're asking crazy money for that car.

    I never liked that colour for the Lambo, makes it look dull IMO.

    The demand is not nearly was Aston expected it to be. At that price I wasn't suprised either. Almost Vanquish...
