My feeling is that this a different variant of 997.2. Too early for 991 testing.
From the wheel arches I would guess it could be a Widebody version of C2S (a la 993) when they had C2S Widebody.

On the site they say it's the 998 test mule , but
Or is it a RSR look road version
Could it be, just a thought, that we will see a 997.3 in 997 life span before 991 becomes available in 2012/2013

It's like a bad plastic surgery job one on top of another these days with Porsche. What happened to the creativity team that came up with the Carrera GT?! I think they must have all been fired years ago.
I wish they would just create a new 911 from scratch with the classic shape built in and not just use the current model base to add more and more elements that just don't coordinate with each other.
Clarkson may be highly anti-Porsche but he is so right when he says Porsche design team are the laziest people in the world.

Hahaha I wonder that too. The 997 MkII-thread was agonizing enough and heck not even a month has passed since it was locked, and now the endless 998 speculation is going to commence. Time to get out the sleeping bag and tent, let's camp in front of our computers for three year.
