Turbo gets 440 hp (now I can confirm it ), entry level Macan with 4-cyl., 250 hp engine and particulate filter.

They managed to ruin a very nice rear with that stupid design language... In light colors the black plastic is cheap and horrible.
440hp for the turbo is nice especially if they improved the sound (maybe the sport exhaust already did that). 8 cyl is not needed at all in this car especially with 440hp. Actually the sweet spot will probably be the GTS now if it gets a bump in acceleration and hp. Still, Macan EV will be a revolution for Porsche imho. If we get another Macan, I will do a short term lease waiting for that, or just get an X now, or a Tesla Y in a couple of years...

I always loved the rear lights of the first generation Macan. They were so new, so fresh and defining for the model.
This silly design language that they are imposing on all the models, stemming from the 718 is just that; silly. It is not beautiful, not a simple "form follows function" and generally looks like it is an afterthought or stuck onto the car. Long story short:
I hope it will look better in real life (as so often with Porsche). I am sure the car will sell like hot cakes though, overall it doesn't look too bad.

Not a fan of forcing a corporate image on such different models in the model range just so they have a similar brand look, its ok between similar models if you dont go too far but between sedans, sportcars and suv's? You cant adapt the same design to such different cars succesfully, you end up with a compromised bad design on all the models. I get using some styling cues details, but you cant take it this far.

Boyko23:In real life, current design of Cayenne is the best so far (rear in particular)... Same can be said about the Panamera also...
I’ve seen both in real life and yes the rear lights blend well and give a modern look to the car.
The facelifted Macan looks really good, I would says its one of the best all round cars one could buy.
Still, after owning the original for 2.5 years, I would want a V8 as the V6 gets boring and the exhaust farts gets annoying. For a DD, I would personally go for a Panamera Gran Turismo Turbo instead, maybe a used one if I could locate one for reasonable $$.

SciFrog:Slightly high spec Macan turbo came in around low 100s... still way cheaper than Cayenne or Panamera for something superior (for me).
will be usual plus 8 to 10% plus the famous tariff....soon about the Euro price

SciFrog:No digital dash on a $100k car in 2018... Whoa
Why?
It's not needed.
What's wrong with a normal dash?
At leas they listened this time around. Last time they didn't and went for those stupid touch screens and touch buttons and that was a horrible idea in a moving car.

I think it looks good.
Those who liked the first generation (and it was many) should be at least comfortable with the restyling.
However, I don't like the idea of the generic rear stripe. It might not look bad as a design, but one style fits all models, sportscars, limousines, SUVs, is not very imaginative IMO.

all brands will do the same big stripes between the lights.
the macan facelift looks good and interior is very appealing compared to black touchy console of cayenne and pany

Enzo II:RC:Turbo gets 440 hp (now I can confirm it ), entry level Macan with 4-cyl., 250 hp engine and particulate filter.
Thanks.
So it even loses a bit of power (the base model)
Also I guess...no Diesel?
As far as I know, there will be one Diesel but it needs more time...
