Yes, and that guy admiting it was having trouble even saing that. Had trouble swalolowing even.

I own an Aston Martin V8 vantage, and in general the females really like it. Mention the word Ferrari and they just roll their eyes (esp the 430). Does this make my Vantage a ``girls`` car? I think NOT !!!
No question the Vantage has a more feminine shape than the 430, but I think that is what makes it so beautiful. I think that the fact that women will buy the California is a plus (however I am not at all convinced that many females will actually purchase one).
It is a beautiful vehicle with the latest technology (eg DSG), and I believe 90% of the purchasers will be male. The difference is that the females will be happy to be seen in one.

i agree, exept the fact of throwing a biturbo in there somewhere... that would be mindblowing, all the power and tech on new ferraris boosted by a biturbo engine !!!!

in the 2007 survey of which car manufacturer had the least problems with quality, meaning that cars went less to the shops ( really dont remember the official name of the study) Ferrari came out on top, followed by Lexus, and then Porsche.

The overall build quality of a Ferrari is not what you would expect from a car that costs that much. Yes, they've become better if you compare the situation to that ten years ago, but still the build quality is not what it should be. It's not that Ferrari are not reliable in general, but if you drive a car that costs 200k or more and you have to listen to rattles and squeaks it's not very funny. I went to the UK Ferrari Owners Club Concours meet today and met a guy who bought a new 430 coupe in March. He waited over 3 years for delivery of his car. Apparently the dealer "lost" his order even though they had had his deposit and this made him have to wait 3 months longer than he should have. As a result of this his build slot fell into the 2008 model year and he was forced to take carbon brakes which he didn't want and the base price of his car went up by Pounds10k as a result. The dealer didn't apologise for their error in delaying his order and merely suggested if he wasn't happy then he could cancel and get his deposit back. A bad start to his introduction to the brand I think most would agree. It's his first Ferrari and first exotic car and we ended up parked side by side comparing faults on our cars. He has glue all along the tops of his doors by the window seals and his rear engine cover hatch is badly misaligned. Ferrari really do need to sort themselves out and stop trading on the supposed history of the brand. Cars at this price level should be properly assembled

I wished Ferrari styled cars like the old days. The 308, 328, 355 (especially the 355), F40, etc...were beautiful cars. What happened?
A "dino" styled like a facelifted F355 with all the modern features would be my dream car! David
