    TT-R is way too powerfull(350hp) for FL Cayman S. So, Porsche needs to decide what to do... They own VAG.

    Dealer tells me that the next S4 engine will likely be a twin turbo engine similar to the BMW 335i engine.

    Limited production capacity of 3.0TFSI. They need to add some new stuff to Gyor factory...

    Well... just drove home with the windows down on my S5 and i can tell you, this engine sounds just great. And i know that the throttle response of the new v6 will not even come close to that of this engine. The only reasons for the new engine are prodution cost and CO2 emission, but certainly not performance; actually an S5 is like having an R8 with better torque and four seats at half price - thats fine with me!

    So if u think of getting an S5 go for the 4.2v8 as long as its available, otherwise the potent 3.0 turbodiesel might be a sensible option. But the kompressor v6 is going to be just an uninspiring compromise, nothing else!

    I saw in the June issue of CAR, a reference to a possible Audi RS3 sedan. Any new info. on that? You seem to imply in the thread above that there is "no room" in Ingolstadt for it

    A3 sedan?!

    I am assuming that the RS3 "sedan" (I expect this means a trunk/boot, but with only 2 doors?) is there to compete against the 135i?

    Maybe there will be an RS7 but, not before 2011(earliest)...

    Forget the raving story on some Audi forum about TTR...

    Car with transversale engine layout can not be(Haldex X or not) as good in drive dynamics as good mid-engine RWD car(Cayman)... That is my opinion.

    ...and TT-R will be pretty expensive for small Audi.
