My Lamborghini Murciélago LP640 Roadster (MY2009)
Here is a short first review and some pictures ... quality isn't that great ... more (and better) will follow later!
My Gallardo Spyder was delivered to its new owner last week so for the last week I have been driving my Ruf Rt12 cab. Going from the Porsche to the Murci was pretty extreme. It's hard to comprehend the sheer size of this thing, especially because it only measures 41.73 inch in height (soft top removed).
The Ceramic Brakes are phenomenal! They work so much better than the ones on the Gallardo, on the LP640 you actually connect to the brakes and they don't just bite at the last part (like the ones from the Superleggera).
I can't say much about acceleration etc as the car is still in break-in period.
E-gear is a lot smoother than the one from my MY07 Gallardo Spyder. As it is it feels a bit too soft but that is easily corrected by the dealer (I did the same thing on my Gallardo). I like it much better when the throttle feels sharper.
I haven't been able to test the new Corsa mode either (due to the break-in period again).
'Seat in the pants': Beyond words. I already felt something remotely similar when switching from a Porsche 996 turbo cab to a Gallardo Spyder but this is something entirely different!
It's like entering a completely new world!
The sound my Gallardo produced was quite a bit louder a lot deeper (raw). The LP640 has a specific V12 tone and I'm sure that will only improve when I can go WOT.
After its first maintenance at 2500km I will have the dealer perform the exhaust valve mod.
Here are some pictures, let's start with its custom silver logo:
