Porscheless..

Well the Cayman is going tomorrow and I will be Porscheless for two months until the 911 comes in September.

I'm very sad.

Yeah..2 months is not too bad and I will be on vacation for 4 weeks of that, so two weeks - vacation - 2 weeks then new car. Not too bad!! This was the best way of maximising my sale price and is probably been worth a couple of grand.

Know the feeling well mate.... I bailed out of mine two months ago as i got a fair price for it...

Running an old Mondeo at the moment

Just curious how you advertised it (ebay, autotrader, etc.) to maximize your selling price? Congrats!

I sold it back to Porsche in the quarter ending 30th June as opposed to the one starting 1st July which was worth about $1500 and saved me one more finance payment ($1000)

I drove one round the Hockenheimring and I was overtaking other stronger cars.... It is so predictable and nice that you can realy go for it... Light and nimble... If it had a little bit more power and an LSD then.....

Yup. However, OTOH, choosing between food or a Porsche is muuuuuch easier decision than trying to decide between PDK or manual.

But the 4S is coming (I actually don't know yet exactly) but sometime in October / November - will be one of the first.
And, yes, you're right - you do not need a car in NYC (which of course implictly only refers to Manhattan)
