    PASM vs PDCC

anyone knows which gives a better drive? steel springs with PASM adjustable dampers or air suspension with PDCC??

    Re: PASM vs PDCC

    Hi Conrad,

I think it is pretty simple steel springs with PASM will give you a more direct, lower ride, race car like and responsive feel. You need to remember that the drive cannot be adjusted nor the height of the car can be changed.

With air suspension and PDCC (as I have on my CTT08) you compromise a little bit on the sportiness of the car, although the turbos make well up for that (smile). PDCC will give you more confidence to corner hard as she keeps totally level. And remember that with air you can adjust the car's handling, ride and confort to the mood you are in.

    Re: PASM vs PDCC

As Mark said, with one correction - with PASM you do get to select the comfort level (Comfort, Sport) setting for suspension but not the ride height. That will be fixed at the lowest always.

    Re: PASM vs PDCC

PDDC and Air Suspension give you a much more comfortable ride. It's an SUV not a sports car.

    Re: PASM vs PDCC

right, thanks guys, i agree with all of u. But how come evo magazine would go for the air suspension with PDCC for a more sporty drive? or i actually misunderstood what they'r trying to say?

    Re: PASM vs PDCC

Air-suspension is very versatile and PDDC limits roll very well. But the essence of the GTS is the lower PASM/steel suspension. If you get the GTS with air+PDDC, you might as well buy the Turbo.

I wonder how many manuals they've sold outside their own network

    Re: PASM vs PDCC

Reginos, I and CPA4S went for Manual.. It'd be interesting to know how many opted for manual.. I'm guessing not alot. Perhaps less than 1% of the GTS orders?

    Re: PASM vs PDCC

thanks for picking out all the main points between the GTS and the Turbo!!
