FIA seems to be on the Ferrari payroll. They hand penalties left right and centre to opponents in all classes of competition from F1 downwards where Ferrari compete.
No wonder this happened:
On June 4, the president of Ferrari, Luca di Montezemolo, urged Mosley to resign, saying that "He should realise that sometimes it is necessary to say to yourself I have to leave for reasons of credibility". Ferrari have always had a close relationship with the FIA and with its president, previously refusing to sign a letter asking for his removal. The next day, June 5th, di Montezemolo made a u-turn, saying how happy he was Mosley had been retained as FIA president."
