    Interesting clip on the new FL 997

    Page 6/7 has the engine in action if you want to hear it.
    Page 20/21 has the FL 997 driving by.. if you want to hear it.

    Cool magazine, thanks. and I loved the engine clip. That's such a cool article and presentation very impressive.

    I shall say that the new 997.2 is impressive. Porsche did their homework this time around.

    Thanks, Drivers Republic is really cool, and the future of car magazines IMO. I love they way they have incorporated videoclips in the article, the next step would be to have aninmations of the PDK gearbox and other interesting features.

    Why didn't Winding Road think of this....

    I love Drivers Republic too, but I find myself having to push myself reading their features, not because they're not good, but because I normally read articles in the couch, in my bath, etc...

    Now I push myself to read in front of my computer, or to drag my laptop with me to breakfast and read it there, while eating, as I normally do with my EVO every morning...

    Maybe it's just a matter of getting used to, and if not, I'll print them out, it would be a waste not to read those articles, IMO...

    Why would Porsche send out a guy who can't even express himself in basic english phrases to do influential interviews?

    Forgive me but I'm getting sick of this generation looking like slobs all the time.

    Tee shirts, dirty hair, three-day beard growth in the presence of more carefully attired and well-groomed people is just dis-respectful.

    Even dirty hair and beard growth with a nice suit looks stuupid.

    MMD, the porsche guy, thomas Wasserbeck, is impeccably dressed, yet can't form a decent sentence. I thought Harris was going to have to tap the back of Wasserbecks head to get the words to come out.

    That guy was in charge of RMS engineering, makes you wonder.

    Sorry I made comments about Tee-shirted guy (bad mood). Live and let live. BUT Geez, raking yard waste and going to a nice restaurant (or interviewing "suits") would call for different grooming and attire you'd think, huh?

    I love Drivers Republic. I love the interaction between writers and readers. The fact that they ask, "tell us what you want to know about this car in our upcoming feature" is brilliant. The Morgan AeroMax feature is bloody awesome, which several of my questions were answered in the factory tour (Plus Four Plus coupe). You just don't get that in other magazines. Steve, if you are reading, keep up the bloody good work.

    I suppose the guy's task was to make a technical presentation in a set format. Probably he didn't expect Harris to appear with a camera for this impromptu interview.
