If you wanna dis a motorsport discipline for being a joke, I believe both NASCAR and several other of your fine country's motorsport inventions supply plenty of material for that.

It's a safety rule isn't it? I don't know how foolish it is to try to prevent accidents. NASCAR on the other hand waited until their Ambassador died before they thought the HANS system was worth making mandatory.

If you took it and have more post em, and relate your experience. The new england Fchat group had 80 people go up to the race. That must have been quite a sight to see, probably at least 30 exotics, mostly ferrari bombing thru Vermont.

yes, Alonso inmediately said it was a gearbox failure, he just said through the radio "gearbox",...spanish locutors guarantee it was the gearbox and nothing else, but a few minutes later , Alonso said it was his fault , another personal fault from him, due to trying to overtake Heidfield and going to maximum of the r28 could manage.....again another personal error, but what the heck, if you dont risk there is nothing, and he has absolutely nothing to loose........but a lot to win....12million Euro per year !! lol

I hope he stays in Renault, or moves in 09 to Bmw, if he moves to Bmw or another team with a competitive car just like ferrari or Mclaren, I would be scared if I was Hamilton or Riakonnen !!!
