its all about the 'down-low' style w/ the new higher benzs i suppose
the only difference is the V12 Bi Turbo Instead of V8 Kompressor on the side fenders, and also the 6 instead of a 5 on the back, and grey wheels,
i believe these are the only external differences between the 55AMGs and the 65AMGs,
inside the engine bay, thats another story
twice the forced induction, and 4 more cylinders... yum
with a few caveats however, wrapped in a chassis' that can't handle the power, and with build quality/ ride quality on par with a wet noodle

The car is trash, plain and simple. Hahahha, it takes more than blown engines and big brakes and so on and so on to make me ever want to buy an AMG benz. Throw out all the creature comforts and make a REAL sports car, not a cream puff. Not sayiing these cars aren't fast and great preformers, but they just go fast and that's it. Or at least that's all I see and feel.
The E55 I drove was a fast(stupid fast) car but once it got to hitting hard corners the car left me feeling out of place with all the electronic gizzmos and the wooden feel of the brake padal, I dont know about anyone else but I like to know that Im slowing down coming to a stop when I brake.
AMG has their work cut out for them, plain and simple. It shouldn't be all about high powered soft riding cars, they should really take a page out of Mc Clarens book since the own the company. Better yet, let the Mc Claren engineers take over AMG, how's that sound? Maybe then we'd get SPORTS CARS and not fast cars.
