is the silverstone event an actual the actual PDE 1/2 day thing you get when buying a 911 or another thing?
Just spoke with dealer to chase up getting my invite and he seemed to think it was part of the PDE.... hes ringing up anyway to find out. When I find out more will post here

Okay, here's the brochure. I scanned it in colour. It's a fold open leaflet with 6 pages, 3 on each side hence the slightly odd order in which I could scan it.

I don't think that is true as when i rang them to book mine i asked that exact question, and was told that the two things are different and i need to book my PDE separately........ I hence have two events..... the marketing hour long test drive on the 8th July and the PDE....

This PDE event for the new 997 Mk2 lasts 2.5 hours (with only 1 hour of actual driving).
The PDE when you buy a new car is called PDE Precision. It used to last 4 hours but is now a full 1 day course.
There is a further PDE (which used to last 6 hours but which now lasts 2 full days) called PDE Performance.

I am still confused then I was told that it was from 9 - 12:30 and it was the PDE that you get when you buy the car...
I wanna do the silverstone event and then do a proper PDE Precision. Who should I contact? My OPC is rather crap....

RESULT Thanks guys!!!!!!! Got my dealer to speak with them and got a nice phone call saying I can go and to book a date.... you get around 1 hour drive with a "consultant" so should be good....
8th is fully booked unfortunately so will have to book another day.
The PDE will also be taking place there so thats what I booked earlier for August.
