    REMARK: 7speed S Tronic will not be available in S5. First model with it will be Q5 and new S4.

    If true that would leave the supposed flagship S5 without the latest technology... strange decision. But still not clear from the CAR report whether Audi is targeting Mercedes smoothness or BMW involvement in this 7 speed S Tronic. Hope the latter as otherwise the RS5 will lose a bit of its driving edge.

    Both, best of both worlds. No S-Tronic for S5 with 4.2 FSI, but there will be this 7-speed S-tronic for S5 Coupe & S5 Sportback with 333 hp, 3.0 TFSI due in 20I0.
