    New Cayenne GTS - but no PCM 3

    Hello,
    Looked at my local OPC at a Cayenne GTS, which basis the residuals they gave me after 3y frightened me away.
    On the other hand they just came back with a cancelled order, but of course no PCM 3 (July change-over). How much of a discount would this entail in your view, and are there any other changes in store in July save for this?
    Let me make it clear that I do want BT and very much dislike the SatNav on my own 997S.

    Hi Enzo (best actually write Enzo 911)
    Is that something you have heard, or just plucking out of thin air? I was told there are no major discount on GTS'. Obviously this 1 case would be different, but 12?

    Hi, no discounts on GTS's what so ever, the dealer cannot get them quick enough. I wouldn't be so hung up on the SatNav. Although the BMW satnav is better (X5 previous) to this , my PCM 2 is pretty well adequate and I am sure it doesn't make too much difference in the resale value. Remember cars are never an investment !! (however the smile on your face will be far better than an investment )

    I would say you should ask them to retrofit as part of the order, or a credit of 5K for them to do it afterwards

    Thanks to all for the answer, the OPC disappeared after his message (did not even call me back the following day as promised, typical), he must have found someone else!

    Just picked up my GTS two days ago....

    PCM 2.0 plus the BOSE system is garbage. I went from an aftermarket Alpine deck in an X5 that had Sirius with Sirius Nav traffic, full DVD, bluetooth, Ipod, USB, and multichannel. Its hard getting used to not being able to see what the traffic is doing in real-time, but I'll live.

    Other than the stuff from suncoast, any other ways to tweak the PCM 2.0 system's cabilities without having to rip out the whole thing?

    Also, the GTS needs proper speaker replacement, amplifier, and sub. The BOSE speaker has not enough separation between low-mid-high frequencies....especially in the front of the vehicle. Obviously, its my opinion, but I'm also a music snob. I've messed with it for a while now, and can't really get a sweet spot. I'll post results, or what I do for replacements.

    You picked your GTS two days ago? Shouldn't it be a MY09 with PCM3 etc .... ?

    Thanks, that is a concrete information which i was missing so far.

    - in that case my GTS will be a MY09 - (production beginning june 08)

    Correct Turbotobi since you are in germany, it makes sense since it was produced last week and soon to be delivered that it is in fact a 09. Congrats in advance and please post lots of pics
