@ DuckieRS: yes I am sure 5 weeks must be a kind of record. Two buddies of mine odered their T around the same time but will have to wait for another 6 weeks. Background: I walked away from one of the biggest OPCs in my neck of the woods (bought 4 Ps there over the last 12 years, though nothing like 918Spyder or 991 GTR2S of course) because customer focus of the sales department really disappeared there over the last couple of years (though worth mentioning that the shop floor service ever was and still is top notch). Hence I went to one of the smallest OPCs in the region and was very much surprised: focus on top sportscars (not a single SUV in the showroom): GT2RS, 918Spyder, 991R you name it....all there Interesting customer base reminding me a bit of RC's reports on customers in his region trying to stay discrete with their P-hobby: lots of very wealthy "hidden champions" in the region who do not want to get spotted in the larger OPCs...Anyway: they were interested to get me on board as new customer (though I am obviously not the type of 918 customer), offered a good discount and good service (when I mentioned that 60 km is a bit far for me to let the car service there they offered pick-up service free of charge). And the sales guy was really engaged (pushing at the factory for early production, hence the superb lead time). And I never heard words like this from a P salesguy: "You know actually it's not really work I am doing here, it's pure fun"

Hahaha, thought about this already though Mrs. PJ will kill me if I abuse the T as a Ring-Tool 
Certainly will give it a try anyway just for "intelligence purpose" of course I couldn't find a supertest for the base Carrera, Carrera S (991.2) was like 7:35, I'd assume the T may be 10 seconds or so slower, hence indeed could be a tad faster than the old 997.1 GT3 or at least on par - looking forward to experience the turbo-effect out of the bends...

Thanks Dario The predominant colour actually is agate grey (rims, mirrors, decals..) but appears somewhat darker on pics - anyway I like the contrast with RY

The T should be faster on the track than the 997.1 GT3, even with our 981 Spyder it was no problem to follow these cars at Hockenheim...
My friend with his 2016 991.1 GT3 RS finally got today a new engine from Porsche and we will be together at Spain and France for some mountain driving end of june.
After this drive we will know more about the performance of the T on normal roads.

Thanks again blueflame although the offered swap of the little covers in front of the headlights now will not materialise as meanwhile Porsche finallly managed to deliver the cars with black covers rather than silver ones 
Good to hear that your friend is ready to go again with the RS ! French see alps and spanish Pyrenee mountains are drivers heaven 
Looking forward to your report - can pick up my car next week only due to business obligations and then the break-in.....

Congrats to both of you on the T. I've seen it in person and the whole package is nicely executed. The fabric seats with the yellow stitching and yellow door handles are very nice. It is a bit expensive though, not much ($20-30k) between it and the GT3.
