    Beautiful 917 pictures

    Due to the classica show in Essen, there was a nice press release with some pictures of the 917 from Gijs van Lennep (Go Holland) that won the 24 heures du mans.
    If anybody wants these pictures in high res, drop me a pm, and I'll mail them to you.

    I would give my right testicle to see Porsche have the same approach to racing today as it did in those days!

    I remember seeing the 917's race at Kyalami in the early '07. They were amazing!!!
    I remember that David Piper had a Lucky Strike sponsored car that was very striking indeed!
    My favorite was the Martini Long Tail.
