crayphile:Magnificent . Do tell us more about its history etc and more photos please.
The car is from an Italian collection. 32000 km, never track, all original parts, never have a chassis setup. I want just find mufflers with more exhaust tone. I look from the RSR from Gert ( carnewall ) but if you have better option?

That Clio is the housekeeper's car.
That classic Alpine is a different story...
Btw: I often say something else about Porsche.
That 993 RS is a beauty and a true classic indeed, congrats...

Sorry LP, rally can't help you, but really, what a spectacular car, I'm literally awestruck, what a stunner!
I recall many years ago when we encountered a 993 RS like this "in the wild" on the road, a bright red colored car with Dutch license plates, and I was begging my father to accelerate in order to keep up with it... haha fantastic mate, thanks for posting!

I think the steering wheel with elevated hub 30 mm actually brings the steering wheel closer to the driver. Maybe you could get one without the elevated hub, moving it a bit away from your legs but this could also mean that you need to stretch your arms further, not sure this would be a good solution?
Sorry, I'm not that much into older 911, so I cannot give you good advice here.

I have the same problem in my 964 . And that is with a standard steering wheel .
For me , the solution would be a Momo steering wheel that comes much much closer to the my chest, so I can stretch the legs more , as the column is fixed .

No, you don't want that. Think accident here...
I will never forget the story Alois Ruf told me, about a 356 (I think) driver who was basically killed by his steering column at a pretty low speed of 40 or 50 kph.

I search a mufflers to replace the motorsound mufflers. I see the RSR from carnewall but you have experience with other brand?
Thanks

I just saw this thread, lovely 993 very special, congratulations
I have dealt with Gert for may years and he is a great resource. I am not sure exactly how he "tunes" his RSR offering but I know people seem happy with it.
My experience with 993 leads to the Cargraphic systems. My 993 turbo ended up with the CG mufflers I think they called them their "race" configuration they flowed my near 600hp perfectly with zero drone and a great sound with no issues over many years.
Cargraphic Porsche exhausts used to be signed off on the RS Tuning engine dyno and the 993RS ones will have benefitted from this, have a look on their web site there is plenty to choose from.
CG exhausts are manufactured by a company called Phoenix which is based in the UK and I think part owned by one of the Schnarr (CG) brothers.
Let me know if you have any questions
