Didn't know they also have them in GT3 sizes!
I think they are $17,500 in Magnesium (Silver, Black, Gray, and Gold colors). Also possible to get 19” sizes and custom widths. One suspension bolt has to be reversed for 19” fitments, but this allows more (and some less expensive) tire options (including real racing slicks - this probably best after warranty expiration).
Peter (Trakcar) enjoying 19’s (just Aluminum) on his RS with Surface Transforms Carbon rotors and Hoosier tires (3 seconds faster at Sebring compared to Cups).
Hoosiers in stock 20 and 21” stock sizes for GT3 and RS this season too...

DaveC:The 4.0 has proved way beyond my expectations. Agree it is a jewel and is a much more flexible and enjoyable engine than the 3.8.

I think there are plenty of cars still available. I was in Beirut last week having a chat with the dealer who is a good friend of mine. I was thinking about a car, and they have 3 in stock, Red (used), Red (New), and Graphite Blue (New), with a PTS car arriving in August in Voodoo Blue. However all those cars have full buckets and roll cages which I can't do, so I've asked if they have any further allocations and the first answer was no. The next day however an allocation popped up for September. I believe Porsche is producing quite a bit of GT cars.... By the way, does anyone know how the factory delivery process works? If you are re exporting you car, do you have to place a guarantee for local VAT in Germany and be refunded once the car is exported out of Europe?

The 4.0 lump is in a different league to the 3.8. 3.8 more mechanical with all the clatters and bag of nail sounds but the 4.0 is an absolute gem. The 4.0 with its extra pull from down low is a god sent, it was much needed. And from cold when you turn the key the 4.0 litre fires up like a super aggressive eager monster, its so cool..
Not exactly a RC review, but he has super powers, specially with writing long write ups
Off out for another drive now, the weather is awesome here

I am curious did you get the options for the leather steering column and alcantara pieces for the door panel? I am debating adding those. The two option add an additional $1000 to the MSRP.

Those guys can rattle my cage as much as they like, no chance of upsetting the one with the hairy chest....
I think a lot of these older UK guys flip their rides because they can barely walk after a drive due to sitting in the buckets. .. They struggle getting in and out of their GT's, feel severe back ache and all of a sudden they see £ note shapes through their vision 
.. Oh well, 
, maybe it should be Jags for them....

It may have been right there in my face, Nick, the leather column, but I didn't option it. The alcantara touches I did go for, was the sunvisor's and belt outlets. Visors are fab and the belt outlets are a must, for any GT model, imo, really love them. ..

I optioned the leather column as well as the sunvisors and belt outlets. I have the extended leather package too and it fits the Touring very well. On the RS I would definitely go for the sunvisors, belt outlets in Alcantara, the standard sunvisors are some of the ugliest I have ever seen fitted to a car, they look dirt cheap.

Will do.. But they are a must. The belt outlets on my Gen1 were the standard plastic ones and they are okay till you see the alcantara ones which, imo, are in a different league visually. Alcan visors are just cool in a GT..Would always tick them again and will do for a RS, if i get an allocation ..

Man I want to apologize for not being more active. We have been fighting city hall here in Idaho and we finally gave up and moving out to the country. Getting the house ready to sell is eating up all my time. I have passed 1000 miles on my car, got the oil changed and just loving it. Too bad the people around here arent building any new roads. We are getting like 5000 people a month moving to the greater Boise area and the politicians are just lining their pockets and slamming homes everywhere. You cant make a contingent offer. You HAVE to be out of your home and cash in hand to buy a house even in the half million dollar range. Luckily my wife works at home and I am retired so we are moving out into the country to get away from the madness. We have a nice home in 100 homes of 1/2 and 1 acre lots but the city decided to put 300 apartments directly across from the best neighborhood in the city.
When I get settled I will be back here. But OH what a car!!!.
