Rumours in te UK have put it around teh Pounds100k mark (some a bit less) - any higher than this and I doubt they'll acheive the volumes they are supposing they are wanting to acheive - they've really got to be targetting a market they haven't got a model in yet - the alleged 2+2 format (the +2 has been said to be an option) would place it right into DB9 / high spec 911/TT (in the UK at least) just above the R8 / Vantage.
The Maserati Granturismo S is Pounds95k with a few options, the F149 will have a Ferrari badge, more bhp and a folding roof so expect north of Pounds120k.

The Porsche way. Basically this is a Maserati which they will sell as a Ferrari at a 40% premium. Whatever happened to honesty and ethics in the car world? Porsche started it and made oodles of money and now Ferrari wants to do the same.

Which porsche model are you referring to specifically that is a "rebranded duplicate of a lesser manufactuer's similar model"?

At US prices, it will be interesting to see how many LP560 vs California GT they will sell, considering the LP560 will be a much better car.

My concern is they may force some of us who are long time Ferrari owners to buy the car in order to get the 430 replacement. It would mean I have to drive around in a dog until I get the replacement which may be two years for the spider.
In other words, in Porsche speak, they are forcing me to buy a Cayman until the new 911 comes out.

So it confirms the speculation that the F430 is replaced by the F149, and the Scuderia by the F142.

Replacing the F430 by a front-engined model is a big disappointment. Hoping for a new Scuderia-type midengined model with an all new design sounds very promising though.

So if this theory is true, does that mean the F430 line (excluding the Scuderia) will be discontinued once the F149 makes its debut?
