    New pics from F149 !

    These pics were taken at the back entrance of the factory. I know the place because I' ve been there many times.

    Judging by the doors it looks pretty finished.
    The rear lights seem pretty low. It could look pretty cool.

    I hope it will be different than just a small 599.

    I dont expect many people will complain about that except miffed 599 owners

    I think the Alfa 8C will have so much more class than this car, and the Maserati GT DOES have more identity... I hope this ain't the car which will be the end of the "brand"... I gotta a scud on order!!! the new Gallardo is begining to sound like an interesting alternative

    Too bad the Alfa was produced in such limited quantities and is now completely sold out. They had a winner there that would have surely sold 4000~ cars a year if it cost 200-250k. Would have taken a bit of wind out of Ferrari's ahemm... "sales"

    the 8C is amazing, but would have never sold 4,000 cars at those prices... not when you know for sure that there is no price retention of any kind down the road... it is an Alfa after all...

    +1 think the same as Marwan. The 8C is only running on this price because of its limitation!

    They couldn't sell 4K for half that price. This car is too quirky looking.

    And it wouldn't take any sales from Ferrari. It's closest competitor is the AMV8.

    Interestingly, none of the Ferrari dealerships on the west coast will be selling the car. Fiat awarded the frnachise to six dealers located primarily in the Midwest and east coast.

    The C8 is one of the most beautiful cars to be launched last year. It's a shame Alfa has limited the production. If they were to move 4 000 of them beauties annually then the price would have been more or less the same as the AMV8.

    I registered my interest in purchasing an 8C Spider with my local Alfa dealer and received a letter from Alfa GB yesterday. I was a little taken aback at the price they are indicating for the 40 examples or so earmarked for the UK.... Pounds160k/210k euros/$324k US. Quite who thought up that number is evidently living on another planet

    Evidently the Alfa isn't worth all that cash but it's very beautiful and the exclusivity itself makes it worth owning. It's is one of those cars which your neighbor won't have and might impossibly be able to get a hold of one.

    It's kind of a collectors item which won't be a depreciation monster like the SL65.

    It would be nice to have another pretty 150-200k GT to choose from though.

    After 250k~ give me an Aston DBS.
