    Champion RS98 Wheels for Widebody 997 available

    I just picked these up and the seller was in error on offsets. So, I'm trying to pass them along to somebody with a widebody 997.

    Perfect / new condition Champion RS98 wheels: 19x8.5 et 53 fronts, 19x11.5 et 44 rears. Fit 997 Turbo, GT3RS, C4, C4S, etc. Delivery miles only - so they are as-new.

    Comes with TPMS mounted, which as you may know cost about $500. These would look and work great with a set of 235/305 tires...

    Wheels new are over $5,000, so this package approaches $6,000 in value. I'm asking $3,900 OBO plus shipping or can deliver to one of many DEs at Lime Rock this spring.

    Normally I would jump on these and resell them at a higher price

    But I will help a fellow lime rocker /CTer out and point you in the right direction.

    The problem I find is: this guy has sixteen post and for the most part he is selling stuff. When someone asks him a question or comments on his item he never responds. It just seems like someone who is trying to take advantage of Rennteams members...

    rhino I understand your apprehension,

    Ron is quite active on rennlist, which I read/post often. While I have not met him I can say hes probably not one of those types of people you say.

    This is probably not a forum he looks at often, hence the lack of response.

    Ron if you are reading this, I understand that you are eager to sell (judging by the postings on every major porsche forum out there ) but THIS isnt the place for it.

    Rhino, Here's the situation. I've been very active in many forums for over 10 years (when I look at my join dates). I started with RoadFly when it pretty much started and I had a 328Ci then M3. I recently switched brand to Porsche. I've probably got a few thousand posts here and there and 99.9% of them are informational / track oriented.

    I'm not as familiar with this forum, but I know there are fellow enthusiasts here that would appreciate the extreme quality items that I very rarely sell (if you look at my thousands of posts, I've only sold maybe 5 items in 10 years and they were always the best possible parts you could buy - AWE, Fikse, and now Champion).

    I cannot explain why this site is so bad at forwarding messages. I'm set up to receive email when somebody responds to a post or PMs me - I never get one so I have to manually come in and see what's up.

    Tom, thank you so much for your kind words and I'll see you at LRP / WGI this coming season (I'm signed up for many already). I'll have my new-to-me 1992 C2 #106 - look for me

    I've lowered my price to $3700 for these wheels including TPMS sensors.

    I apologize for taking up time and space here - again, my intention was good that there might be an active member of this forum that was about to pay $5900 for the same items and I know if that were me, I'd appreciate this lead...

    Hey, no problem at all. It's easy to see your point...

    P.S. Reduced again from $3900 to $3700 to $3500. I have to sell them this week (medical situation complicating matters).
