Wow, this car is fast!
Forgive me but I have nobody else to tell this to.
Did a little more serious driving yesterday.
Two lane rural highway with lots of slowpokes, brain-dead, and 48to53to50to49to55to51mph drivers.
Throw it into third, punch the gas and... it's _done_.
The car doesn't just go fast. The car goes fast fast. The "instant" acceleration from 50-100mph (?) and massive brakes are just incredible (goes back to "55" in a second).
Stability and feelings of controlled power are all present (thank god for zero deer encounters).
Sounds obvious now but at the time my mind is pumping endorphins by repeating over and over, "Porsche really got THIS right!!"
Got home and just sat in the driveway admiring the car for ten minutes; I didn't even notice how dirty it was.

Let me rub it in, the CG exhaust makes it even better and IPD plenum better yet 
Personally I find 3rd gear acceleration to be downright scary as is, and fourth to be an absolute "scream." As in hold-on-to-the-steering-wheel "SWEET JESUS, I'M COMING HOME" scream!!
