https://www.instagram.com/kevinestre/We are out of the race. Romain couldn’t avoid oil on the track and lost it under braking. Big crash. The Grello is way too damage to get it back. This hurts a lot while we lead the whole race! 😔😔

Topspeed:Yeah. And it's impressive how they can race in such conditions. I hardly can see the track.
Funny quote from one of the drivers in this context during an interview: " It was a shame that around midnight we could do only 200 km/h on Döttinger Höhe because we couldn't see anything due to the fog". Yeah 200 km/h in the fog 
BTW I guess the 24h at the Nürburgring is the only (track) race where the racecars are equipped with a rear fog light

always a cool race, I did some years ago, is it just me or has it lost much in appeal and public???
Still definitely an amazing race. Also did it a few years ago, along with quite a few seasons in VLN.
Regarding the public, the official figure mentions 210'000 (or 230k?) spectators. Many people doubt that is correct. Yes, Brünnchen, Hatzenbach & co were full of campers, but that's still a lot. And - based on TV images - it looked like the spectator grandstands were almost completely empty.
