    Yeah it is cool, but only problem for us right hand drive market like Australia,the suicide door is just plain stupid. Due to cost savings, both left and right hand drive cars will come with the same body configuration!

    The concept of the Clubman is fine, but I don't like the look of the rear.

    underwhelmed initially, but now growing on me. It addresses the main shortcoming of the hatchback (difficult to get into the back and the tiny boot). However, it has lost the sporty chunkiness of the hatchback. Will be a great success I'm sure. The lack of a leftside 'club door' is disappointing in view of its main market being the UK.

    I highly doubt that the UK actually is the "main market".

    I had one for a day, returned it this morning. I've never tried the Cooper, but this didn't feel very small at all IMO. Not a bad thing on the highway, where it felt very solid and drove a bit more like a larger car. The view out the back windows was really poor.

    What drove me crazy, though, were the rain sensing windshield wipers that insisted on going at least one level too fast all the time. We've been getting some snow for a couple of days, not sure if that's what screwed it up. I have a 2005 9-3SS with auto wipers that work very well in snow too. I was forced to manually engage the wipers every now and then in light snow fall.

    Oh, the Clubman makes a funny almost R2D2 like sound when you're going sideways, even with ESP off

    The wife wants a Cooper, but I'm not sure I can justify the price compared to other small cars...

    It may be a "hipster DOOFUS" car. That's how Elain describes Kramer in Seinfeld.

    Somehow I can definitely see Kramer driving one.

    Correction: can definitely see 6'4" Kramer trying to drive one.
