    Back to the 997 board from the TT board

    LOVED MY Turbo. But i could not pass up the oppertunity to get a GT3. What an amazing car. Just reving to 8400 is amazing. I would engourage any of you if you have the oppertunity to drive one of these besats take it. I need to run but i thought I would post some shots of my new baby.

    Welcome back. The GT3 is a different animal. It's closer to the older 911 that you have known, isn't it?

    Shouldn't you change your user name btw?

    That's what I thought as well. Could this be the reason you feel more approrpriate in the GT3 than in the Turbo?

    You traitor Just kidding pal, congrat. I love the GT3 and had a black one ordered and a week before taking delivery I switched to the Turbo.

    Spectacular! I am sure you will be thrilled - there is nothing like driving the GT3.

    If I look back and think about all the 911's I have had the old ones were RAW. Hard core you had to want to drive it. Heat barely worked, when you did use it they smelled like oil. They were rough and loud. Well the heat works well in this one, but it is rough and loud. Not as bad as some people have said however. I think it is fine to drive daily. I wont , but you could. Its a little low and I have already scraped up the front spoiler but that is why they come off so you can replace them. It rained today and I drove it, I pushed it a little but not too hard. I will give more impressions as I spend more time with it.

    Those red rear lights, look awesome !!!, The only thing you need now , is changing the gt3 badge into red colour, to match those rear lights....it would look amazing !!!

    Congrats, you just got the best car in the world !!!!
