    The 8C uses a modified version of the 4200 chassis and is therefore "old tech" as a result. The GranTurismo uses a shortened version of the much newer Quattroporte floorpan which is very different.

    ISUK yes I meant to say that while the gransport is a nice car, the chassis is old and it felt poorly put together.

    I understand they made a whole new platform for quattroporte/gt.

    I do like the dark rims, for some reason they work quite well here, but not well on the Astons? They offered the dark rims on V8s for a year and apparently not many people were keen on them.

    finaly: transaxle, ferrari 100 millisec gear, decent brakes from brembo, just missing 60 hp!!!!! for me to be the GT of the moment.
    it is stunning and realy sexy...I love this car, but I think that the interior is a shame!!!

    I saw the car in Geneva yesterday and was a little underwhelmed by it. You have to look pretty hard to notice the reprofiled rear trunk lip and the new skirts just didn't look right to my eyes when viewed side on. They are at odds with the flowing lines of the car and look like an afterthought IMHO. Two things really struck me about the car but in the wrong way - the large single oval tailpipes and the alcantara seat inserts. Porsche fit both items to their base models yet Maserati have fitted them to the range topper Maybe I've just been accustomed to Porsche for too long but they didn't give either a sporty or upmarket feel to me. Make up your own minds when you get to see a physical car.

    Met someone on ski-vacation in Italy who ordered one.
    He had a normal one on order for january, but switched it for an S .
