    Sure, the F430 successor will stay below the hp-number of the LP560, just as any Ferrari stays below the numbers of the particular Lamborghini. But I will be satisfied with - let's say - 550hp. Very modest, I know.

    Actually, it's meant to take its cues off the 640, but it does look similar to the Scuderia.

    If the 540, or whatever it's going to be called, is much quicker than this, it will be as fast if not faster than the 599.

    Either 5th or 6th. I will know exactely on Tuesday. Honestly, this LP560/4 is tempting... If I order it next week I can get it in July 2008!

    Few facts about Gallardo LP560/4...

    -new high reving 5.2L FSI with much lower CO2 emission then any current Ferrari engine. In fact LP560/4 is politically correct supercar!
    -latest suspension technology( )
    -new e-gear as fast as F1 Superfast
    -front, side and thorax airbags. Should I say that Scud features only two airbags in 2008?
    -aircondition system from 2008. NOT an Fiat Uno unit from F430...
    -soundwise it will be the best engine on the market. Period.

    Time to tell my wife she was right R8 is not practical and we need to get a different car . Of course I don't know LP 560 is a 2 seater too .

    How similar is the LP560 to the R8 under the skin? Obviuosly the R8 has had fantastic reviews and I wonder how much is now shared with the LP560?

    Do you think the LP560 will sound as good (loud) as an 06 Gallardo or will regulations make it quieter?

    How long a life will the LP560 have before an all new Gallardo comes along?

    Thanks - thinking the LP560 may be my next car!

    Rear suspension is almost the same. New Brakes are also almost the same. Engine is well-the best engine in the world and second best engine in the world will be in forthcoming R8 V10(basically the same engine just with 520hp and different intake-less agresive-system). Sound? Exhaust is under idle pretty silent but, full sound. BUT... When you push the throttle you get full termonuclear reaction-sound and power wise! It is a pure miracle how Lamborghini achived that low CO2 emissions and that sound according to some people who actually heard test mules.

    It will be a star in all car mags-you can bet on it!

    Around 6% more then current normal Gallardo. I will have official price list in Geneva. According to all improvements it is really marginal price jump...

    300km/h... In around 34s... Not to bad, isn't it?
