I was quoted approx 7000 Omani Rials which is 17500 USD. I thought about it long and hard but found that I was not able to justify the 40bhp extra on top of my fully loaded CCT. I am not aware of anyone having opted to go for the powerkit but will investigate.

Mark, I'm not completely sure if this also goes for the new Powerkit, but the last one(for the 450 bhp engine) also included bigger brakes and some other tidbits, so it wasn't just an engine upgrade.

Mark, I'm not completely sure if this also goes for the new Powerkit, but the last one(for the 450 bhp engine) also included bigger brakes and some other tidbits, so it wasn't just an engine upgrade.
No, that was the Turbo S model that included the things you mention plus the Powerkit.

Incorrect. RC had bought and installed the Powerkit on his previous 450-bhp Cayenne Turbo. It came not only with an engine upgrade, but also with bigger brakes, which made 19" rims mandatory.

Just to clarify and referring to the initial question, I am from the impression that the 'powerkit' for the MY08 CTT only gives you 40bhp extra, nothing else. I think they do it through an ECU upgrade, improved air intake........
Do I have the right end of the stick?
