Truck it home? I'm almost afraid to hear why...is the weather really that bad out there? I know you posted a picture of the skyline showing snow but surely you can drive 50 miles home.
I drove mine 2000+ miles within 4 days of delivery through rain, wind, snow, etc.

Not worried about the weather. As my salesman tells those who won't even drive theirs in the rain - They are waterproof!!
It is the hugh potholes around here this time of year and the crap they throw on the roads flying up and chipping paint.

I'd truck it. Who wants a "forced" winter drive on the interstate IN YOUR BRAND NEW PORSCHE!? Dirty, sandy, salty(?), messy, lots of traffic(?) after a half-hour you all you might want is to get home.
Better to do the driving on nice days on roads you _want_ to be on. Now, if it were summer then to-truck-or-not-to-truck is another story.

Yes, come spring they are out in full force. I still take the car out during winter on nice days after a good rain has washed the stuff off the streets. It really depends what roads I am taking, There is a very bad 10 mile stretch that I can't avoid from the dealer to home or I would probably drive it home.
CEC emailed me last night and my steering wheel is in. They are going to next day it straight to the dealer for installation. It was just ordered on Jan 14th. Can't wait to see it.

Ouch! It's really a shame that you guys have such bad roads out there! We have bad roads here but probably nowhere near the caliber of you guys!
You will LOVE the new steering wheel. Trust me on that.
