sorry to drag an old thread up , but is the colour in pic 2 GT silver ? i have just found out that porsche will not paint my GT2 in slate grey , even though they will for a turbo

has anyone else heard this ? thanks

ps. i can't get the race seats in half leather as i am buying a club sport , race seats in half leather are only available in the touring package

Porsche WILL paint your car in slate if you want to, just be persistent!
Remember back in the days when they brought out the 997 GT3 rs? Everybody said that porsche would not paint it white. Now, we're a few months ahead, and what do we see? A lot of white GT3 rs's...
Can't help you with the leather question though.

It would be great if this car could be had in full leather, instead of the ugly alcantara.

How is that project coming along for you? I plan to do the same too so I'd like to know what's involved in swapping those bumpers out.

The car is at its end stage at Ruf right now Jason.
I should have it back in 7-10 days and then it goes directly to the dealer for the bumper swap.
I'll keep you up to date

Rami, what about aerodynamics? Wouldn't changing just the front spoil them? That being said, that car will be one bad ass Porsche with the Rt12 engine

i have heard the GT2 and GT3 are built at the race factory , so there isn't as many options available to buyers . the factory can't take on special requests for different coloured stitching etc . is this true ?

Fantastic car. But the rear vents just don't do it for me. The car is so horizontal, and they go and put gills on it
