    Re: pix of my CS

Very nice indeed. Good choice of int / ext color and the wheels work really well with it..

    Re: pix of my CS

Love the Cocoa interior - what's the exterior paint color?

    Re: pix of my CS

This is the best combo for the cayman S. You're choice of paint/interior/wheels work very well together.

Grant, I think it's slate grey.

    Simply beautifull.

    Re: pix of my CS

    yes thats slate.
what the pix dont reflect are the slight copper particles in slate grey, which then gets a warm brown underone.
the car is 1,5 years old and i still grin over the combo!

    Re: pix of my CS

    Fantastic interior

    Re: pix of my CS

Great looking car... how's it doing a year and a half later? I've had my CS for a year and seven months and am still impressed.

    Re: pix of my CS

Superb combo, Nick A buddy of mine has exactly the same combo on his 987S - it looks simply stunning in the flesh

couldnt be happier: just like a good cup of coffe it still puts a huge smile on my face, even in stop-n-go on my way to work!
    and the weekends......

Wow that is truly impressive. After a year and half/a year and seven months, you guys are still impressed and it still puts a smile on your face. I am usually starting to get bored with a car by this time.

Please tell me how does the Cayman do that ?

    Re: pix of my CS

well apart from the obvios pleasure of getting into a porsche with you absolute dream options (i really let it rip!)there would be such moments:

i really feel the midengine balance even in the city, when applying the throttle in a corner.
the satisfactional feeling of the 6 speed manual, that lets you ride in 6 (!) at 40 km without "coughing"
the body control when i make u turns
the adaptive seats that i can adjust : before dinner / after dinner (you know what i mean)
catching the reflections of those hips in the shop windows
and thats just the ride to work

on the weekends its just blasting on the well known country roads with a fresh cd and trying to find out what the car will or will not do in a particular situaion and how to treat it at this moment.

after a blast, go to a gas station, buy a bottle of mineral water and listen to the exhaust crackle and pop
then go back to the city and feel how that little monster transforms into a calm daily driver, still knowing that you can let it rip any time you like...

    but thats a short description.....

cant wait for the summer tires!!!!!!

    cheers
    nick

    Re: pix of my CS

Thanks for the reply nick. I test drove a Cayman S and "skilled athlete in top shape" is what I felt.

    Re: pix of my CS

Great car and great spec - exactly what I would have chosen!
And I know what you mean about the factor!

every now and then my CS really surprises me. Like those times when i think i've gone into a corner too fast, only for it to grip and grip and grip..

but.. the mileage is poor and tyres wear out too quick, but that could just be me.

    Re: pix of my CS

Wow - that is a super combination of colour/interior. Thanks for posting these. We are now looking for a replacement for our M Coupe (wife's daily driver... but we share ) and the Cayman S is still the best fit with what we (she) wants... small enough to feel nimble, power through the rev band, distinctive in feel, and she insists must have only two seats! The alternatives are mostly too large/bulky, or are 2+2.

Interested if you got PASM and if so your thoughts on its worth...

    Re: pix of my CS

i actually got almost every option that was available, including PASM. Can fully recomend it, unless your going to the track (i guess) its the perfect balance between hardcore(when pasm button pushed) and surprisingly comfortable.
plus the pasm does tighten up, it adapts to your current driving style!

also recomend: get as much leather inside as possible (console and soon), you will never regret it.

    cheers

    Re: pix of my CS

    slate cocoa? great combo

    Re: pix of my CS

    yup, slate and cocoa.
    havent regretted it one second!
    cheers

    Re: pix of my CS

    best combo I've seen.
