Apparently RS Tuning having just signed off the first 997 GT2 engine which with special VTGs, exhaust manifolds and (the expensive Secan) intercoolers managed a peak power of 620PS with expansion manifold intact AFIAK......
That is going to be a beast

RS has a deal of a package for 598 PS and over 800 Nm for the 997TT for about 17.5K Euro complete.
The 997TT with this package and a set of PSS10's should keep up to a stock GT2 for a lot less money, plus back seats

TB993TT, if you would be kind enough to post some performance numbers once you get them, that would be great.
Getting numbers seems quite difficult unless we actually know someone who has the kit...
I didn't ask but am wondering if this 997GT2 is actually Cargraphics. They claimed (at Essen) that they were going to put the big dog $150K 680hp non VVT engine in their GT2 but I wonder if they changed their mind ?
One would imagine that a 620hp GT2 with VVT type torque curve would make for a very responsive package and the talk was that they would use the tuned GT2 for an assault on the Tuner GP this year - if that is the case then we should get some good data.....

A friend got a quote (from RS) and the 598 package seems to end up costing more like 26K Euros (inc VAT) and including the optional Secan Intercoolers will set you back 42K Euro

The 150.000-euro (I think) non-VTG setup would probably be overkill for the GT2. I concur about the responsiveness. The GT2 would very likely be just as fast (if not faster) around that track with the 620 engine.
